Application Details

MultiTech Lubricant is applied alone in aqueous dilution or combined with organic softeners for the treatment of fibers and textiels. Before mixing with organic softeners, a compatibility test is recommended. MultiTech Lubricant is used as sewing thread lubricant for polyester yarns used on high-speed sewing machines in order to reduce the friction of fibers.

Processing

MultiTech Lubricant can be applied either alone or together with resins and other finishing agents. Higher crease recovery angles and lower abrasion values can be obtained in resin finishes by using MultiTech Lubricant. A wide range of touches can be obtained by combining MultiTech Lubricant with conventional softening agents and other additives such as fillers based on polyacrylate.
